The lady had been curious about ith for some time, and the couple came to visit the atelier.
During the fitting, they discussed and debated together, repeatedly, and it was clear that they were enjoying the process of designing their rings as a couple. It left a lasting impression.
A Focus on Comfort in the Design
The most important factor for the couple was the comfort of the rings.
They wanted to ensure the rings would feel right as they held hands, opened and closed their fingers, and looked at each other’s hands. Together, they explored different options to find a shape that would feel perfect for them.
What they ultimately chose was "Marcato."
The gentle S-shape curve that follows the finger, combined with its rounded design, made it the perfect choice, as it fit their hands comfortably.
Thinking About Matching Rings
The lady was initially unsure about whether to include diamonds due to her work, but she was drawn to how beautifully the diamonds could be seen along the sides of "Marcato." She decided to set 9 diamonds to mark their wedding date.
“I’d like it to feel a bit more matching,” she said.
Since they had chosen the same design, they wanted the rings to feel even more in sync.
To achieve this, the gentleman’s ring featured a hairline finish on the part where the lady’s diamonds were set, highlighting the flowing impression that the Maricato shape naturally provides.
"Marcato" is named after a musical term meaning "to play with emphasis," and each couple's unique “mark” was expressed through the front hairline and the diamonds.
The result was a pair of rings that perfectly captured their desire for matching designs.
Matching Rings Side by Side
The rings were ready just in time for their face-to-face meeting with family.
It’s been a while since the delivery, and I hope the rings have become a comfortable fit in their daily lives.
I wish the couple many more happy moments ahead.
From all of us at the atelier, we send our best wishes for a lifetime of happiness.
