Combining Form and Carving: Wedding Rings That Bring Together Their Individual Styles

 

The couple first discovered ith on Instagram and had already found many designs that caught their eye even before visiting the atelier.

Their ring search began with the overall shape, followed by careful consideration of details such as surface finishes and metal colours.

After exploring the many possibilities, they found a pair that beautifully reflects who they are.

The Shape and Pattern They Chose from Many Designs

For the shape of their rings, they were both drawn to “Marcato.”

 

The form with a small S-curve only on the front is

close to a straight shape, and

a perfectly balanced look that isn’t too distinctive

was liked by them.

 

And another one that captured their hearts

was the Erba, crafted with traditional Japanese wa-bori carving bearing a laurel motif.

The shared form and the laurel carving motif.

Within a definite sense of unity,

each of their individual touches is reflected.

 

One of the key points is the position at which the laurel is carved.

 

The men's ring is on the left, the women's ring on the right. If the rings are inverted top and bottom,

the design allows them to be worn beautifully,

they can be matched together,

and can be enjoyed with variations as well.

 

 

The men's ring,

with the entire piece finished matte, including the carving motif,

gives a chic and stylish impression.

 

On the other hand, the women's ring is polished to a glossy finish all over,

brightening the hand with a lively glow,

resulting in a glamorous finish.

The laurel, long cherished as a symbol of love,

may the beautiful carving pattern serve as a sign of their love,

and may it watch over their future for many years to come.
