Wedding Rings That Combine Timeless Elegance with a Special Touch

 

After visiting various jewellery stores and gradually discovering their design preferences and what mattered most to them, the couple came to ith.

 

Building on the styles they had already fallen in love with, they discovered new possibilities at our atelier, eventually creating truly one-of-a-kind wedding rings.

 

Today, we're sharing their special rings, thoughtfully personalised down to the smallest details through many conversations and careful consideration.

What they value most

The couple had two main priorities for their wedding rings:

a comfortable fit and a timeless design that felt like a wedding ring.

 

At the same time, they shared that they had initially been drawn to handcrafted designs such as “Tsuchime Aki” and “Foresta”.

 

With this in mind, we began exploring a design that would bring together the comfort and classic elegance they wanted in their wedding rings, while incorporating touches of the handcrafted character they loved.

A Design That Feels Comfortable to Wear

The couple chose “Marcato”as the foundation for their rings.
They loved the comfortable feel of its softly rounded band profile and subtle wave-shaped silhouette.

 

 

After comparing sample rings and reference images, they decided to incorporate their favourite handcrafted details into the central twisted section.

By keeping most of the surface mirror-polished, the rings retained the simple, timeless elegance they wanted in their wedding rings.

Thoughtful Personalisation in Every Detail

Among the handcrafted designs they explored, the couple were particularly drawn to the tree bark-inspired carving of “Foresta”, which complemented the shape of “Marcato” beautifully.

 

Each had their own preferences for the depth and delicacy of the carving.

For his ring, the artisan created a deeper, more rugged texture, while hers featured softer, shallower, and more delicate carvings.

 

Next came the diamond arrangement for her ring.
This was the detail they spent the most time considering!

 

They chose two diamonds to represent the couple standing side by side.

To create a slightly playful, asymmetrical look, the diamonds were arranged along an upward diagonal to the left, contrasting with Marcato's twist, which rises to the right.

 

There was another meaningful detail inspired by her name: the total number of diamonds and prongs holding them in place was carefully chosen to add up to seven.

With every detail thoughtfully considered, their truly personal wedding rings finally came together.

 

I still remember how much fun we had sketching ideas together, combining reference images, and exploring all the possibilities.

Seeing the couple enjoy every step of the process made it a memorable experience for me as well.

Delivery Day

At last, the couple saw their finished rings for the first time.

I can still vividly remember their beaming smiles as they opened the box and exclaimed,

“They're exactly what we imagined!”

It was all the time spent exploring ideas, making decisions, and refining the smallest details that made these rings so special and uniquely theirs.

 

May their wedding rings become like little good-luck charms, always close at hand, quietly watching over the journey they share together.
