Blooming in Love

He first stepped into the atelier alone during a quiet lunch hour.

Still uncertain, yet already thinking carefully about her.

It was his first time looking at engagement rings.

At first, he wanted everything to remain a surprise.

But the more he spoke about her, the more his certainty softened.

She was someone constantly evolving, always exploring different versions of herself.

He wondered aloud if it was uncommon to shop alone.

Yet somewhere within the conversation, the answer became clear to him.

This was not a story he wanted to write without her.

Weeks later, they returned together for their consultation.

She arrived bright and expressive, carrying warmth into every corner of the atelier.

She spoke openly about the many styles she had embraced growing up.

Pink hair once. A wolf cut another time.

Nothing about her felt fixed, and perhaps that was her charm.

She moved through life freely, never afraid of becoming someone new.

He joked that she might not love the same ring forever.

So gently, he told her not to feel pressured by permanence.

There would always be more rings in the future.

“One every year?” she teased immediately.

He panicked.

Then bargained quickly.

From ten years, to five.

The way they spoke to each other felt effortless and tender.

Like two people entirely comfortable being themselves together.

The Ring That Stayed

They explored bold silhouettes, wider bands, and unconventional forms together.

She disliked anything too delicate, too quiet, too ordinary.

Some rings left the tray quickly.

Others stayed a little longer beneath her fingertips.

She loved the regal feeling of Wreath.

Something about it reminded her of heirlooms passed lovingly through generations.

Then came "Moon."

Whimsical and dreamlike, though still slightly too delicate for her liking.

And finally, "Fiore."

The moment it slipped onto her hand, something changed quietly between them.

She kept wearing it without even realising.

Even while trying on other rings, "Fiore" remained with her.

As though her hands had already chosen before her thoughts could catch up.

Only later did she notice.

And when she did, she smiled softly to herself.

In Full Bloom

"Fiore."

A name that speaks of flowers in bloom.

It suited her naturally.

Expressive, vibrant, and impossible to confine into only one form.

Slowly, the design began to take shape around her.

An emerald at the centre.

Deep green, vivid, and full of life.

Around it, coloured gemstones gathered quietly along the sides.

Small traces of colour, like flowers blooming beside one another in spring.

It felt romantic in an unexpected way.

Not perfectly uniform, but full of character and feeling.

A ring that could hold every version of her;

past, present, and still becoming.

They had not finalised every detail yet.

But somehow, it already felt certain.

Because what mattered most had already happened.

She found a ring she could not stop reaching for.

And beside her stood someone willing to keep falling in love with every new season she becomes.
