Wedding Rings Sharing the Brilliance of Matching Japanese Hand Engraving

While searching for wedding rings,
the couple shared, “We couldn’t quite find a design that felt right,
but the only one that truly resonated with us was ‘Anise’.”

With that feeling in mind, they visited the atelier.

Here is the wedding ring they created,
filled with both the excitement they felt at first sight
and the details they discovered through trying it on.

A design featuring traditional Japanese carving, crafted by hand

One of the reasons the couple visited ith was the traditional Japanese carving design called

the traditional Japanese carving design called "Anise".

"Traditional Japanese carving" is a traditional technique in Japan,

and not many artisans in Japan possess this skill.

The delicate patterns carved by hand by the artisan

sparkle with every movement, radiating a brilliance that rivals diamonds.

They also tried other designs, but

the expressions of delight they felt when trying on "Anis" remain vivid

We still remember them vividly.

A matched radiance on the hands

At first, they said they weren't particularly concerned with matching designs,

"I like this too, but it wouldn't suit the other person’s hand."

"It's cute, but not very us,"

they naturally sought a design that would suit both of them.

"When worn, matching ones really are nicer,"

their act of trying them on while confirming each other's ring designs

looked very joyful, and their closeness shone through.

Honouring each person's individual preferences

In addition to a shared wish to incorporate the "Anis" pattern while trying them on,

they found that a matte finish suits the man's hand.

If the pattern circled the entire ring, it would be a bit too glittery.

we added a single "Anis" carved motif on the front,

and the rest finished with a gentle hairline finish that blends softly with the hand.

The woman also hesitated about having the same design, but

"The sparkly one would be more exciting,"

and kept to the all-around carved design as it is.

Because these are wedding rings to be worn every day,

they arrived at a design that would suit each of their hands, even within matching pieces.

A timeless, shared brilliance

At handover, seeing the gleaming rings carved especially for the two of them

"The sparkle really does lift the mood!" they exclaimed with joy.

As they joyfully moved their hands again and again

the fact that they took the time to study them carefully

is something that remains very memorable.

The thrill they felt at the moment they instinctively thought "cute!"

We would be delighted if they could share that moment when they glance at the rings together.

On the long road ahead, the shared brilliance of the traditional Japanese carving

may continue to brighten their daily lives.
