Engagement and wedding rings are meant to be worn for a lifetime.
As you wear your ring every day, it gradually changes over time.
Since these rings hold deep significance, many people wonder how they will evolve with time.
Today, I would like to share the aging process of my own wedding band.
A Ring Thoughtfully Crafted
In the fall of 2023, my ring was completed.
It is called "Tsuchime Kunpu."
We carefully selected the metals and widths we each preferred.
Regular Cleaning for Milestone Moments
A year has passed since we received our rings, and over time, they have developed a natural luster.
The hammer-textured surface remains distinct, yet it has softened, blending seamlessly into daily life with a warm appearance.
At some point, checking each other's rings and saying, "Oh, it’s changed like this over time!" became a joyful part of our routine.
Although we cherished the changes our rings had undergone together, we decided to have them refinished to commemorate our first wedding anniversary.
A Ring That Will Continue to Hold Memories
After a four-week maintenance period, the rings returned to our hands.
Although we had been wearing them every day, receiving them back made us feel a renewed sense of commitment, bringing back memories of the day they were first delivered to us.
We now look forward to seeing how they will evolve with time as we continue to share our lives together.
