A couple who previously entrusted ith with crafting their wedding bands recently returned with a new request.
This time, the consultation came from the husband alone, planning a surprise for his wife.
A few years had passed since their marriage, and as they prepared to finally hold their wedding ceremony, the wife mentioned in passing, "It would make me so happy if you proposed to me again."
Inspired by her words, the husband decided to create this special moment.
Thoughtful Design for a Timeless Gift
"If I’m going to give her a ring, I want it to be one she can wear for years to come."
This heartfelt wish guided the husband as we explored various designs together in our atelier.
Though the wife rarely wears other jewellery, she has never taken off her wedding ring.
The husband envisioned a ring that could be layered comfortably with her wedding band.
When it comes to housework and childcare, the ring needed to be something that could be comfortably layered with her wedding ring without feeling out of place. Considering that the wife has delicate hands, we decided to choose a slender and refined design to suit her beautifully.
As we tried on and compared different options, the husband’s vision gradually became clear.
The choice was "Andante," one of ith's most minimalist designs.
This slender, straight-shaped band fits into her everyday life.
The husband selected yellow gold for the band and opted for a matte finish known as "Mese finish."
To add a subtle touch of brilliance, a single diamond was set into the ring.
Since it was a gift chosen in secret, the husband made sure to customise the design into something he personally found beautiful and special.
A Ring Designed with Her Preferences and Lifestyle in Mind
Having shared their lives together as a married couple, the husband gained a unique perspective on selecting a ring that truly resonated with their journey.
The result was a delicately simple and elegant ring, a design that could only be discovered by a couple who had transitioned from being "partners" to "spouses." It is, without a doubt, a one-of-a-kind creation.
A few days after the wedding, the husband shared the happy news: the surprise ring had been delivered successfully.
His message conveyed how much the wife loved it, filling me with joy as the maker.
May these two heartfelt rings—the wedding band and now this special gift—continue to shine gently on her hand for years to come.
