The story of ith and the couple began when the gentleman visited the Umeda Atelier after viewing ith's engagement rings.
Choosing the Engagement Ring with Thoughts of His Partner
Among the many designs, the one that immediately caught his eye was the "Moon."
He mentioned that he thought it would suit his partner perfectly.
However, as he explored other options, he found himself drawn to several others, saying, "They all look so lovely…" and found himself in a dilemma.
At that point, the hint to his ring choice came from the couple's daily life and memories.
The partner loved flowers, and every year they would visit a different place to enjoy flower viewing.
They particularly loved sunflowers, so the idea emerged to incorporate yellow and create a design that resembled blooming flowers.
The yellow diamond gently accompanies and beautifully shines in the completed "Moon."
The yellow stone is a perfect match, symbolizing the moon and stars.
Matching Wedding Rings
After a successful proposal during their trip, they came to the Kobe Sannomiya Atelier to choose their wedding bands.
The lady wore the "Moon" and, seeing the one the gentleman had thoughtfully created for her, seemed truly happy, which brought great joy to me as well.
For their wedding rings, they chose the "Vivace."
There were many favorite designs for the wedding rings, and I recall how they took time deciding together.
The lady decided to make the band thinner and reduce the number of stones, resulting in a delicate, modest look.
Interestingly, on the opposite side of the diamond, there’s a matte finish, so by turning it, it mirrors the gentleman’s design perfectly.
They created a pair that combined their personal tastes with a matching design.
The "Vivace" was chosen with the thought, "May they walk through their future together with vitality and joy."
Whenever they glance at their ith rings, I hope they find courage and energy to keep going.
May the couple always remain close and walk through their married life at their own pace.
