Wedding Bands Embedded with Names, Hometowns, and a Cherished Season

From the very beginning, even before visiting the atelier, the couple shared their hopes and ideas with such care.

"I want to incorporate the word 'leaf' because it's part of my name."

"We were both born in April."

"Our hometown is Kobe."

"Although we have different tastes, we want a unique pair of wedding rings just for us."

With these thoughts in mind, I welcomed them, and they immediately said, "We don’t have any specific image in mind, so please keep suggesting ideas!" That really broke the ice, and we were able to have many wonderful conversations.

Names

We began by having them try on different shapes to find what suited each of them best.

The lady’s hand seemed to fit well with a gentle curve, so we chose "Legato" as the base.

The gentleman, on the other hand, selected "Vivace," which gave his hand a crisp and sharp look.

And the one thing they both liked was the laurel leaf engraving on "Erba."

The lady’s name contains the character for "leaf," and without hesitation, the first motif they both chose to incorporate into their rings was the leaf pattern.

Their Hometown and a Cherished Season

Next, we talked about their hometown, Kobe.

"It’s such an important common ground, so we wanted to include it, but how could we express the connection to our hometown?"

Among the rings that remained as their favorites was "Tsuchime haru," which represents the soft sunlight of spring.

Both of them were born in the spring of April.

And one of the images of Kobe is that of a port city.

The shimmering hammer pattern reminded them of the rippling water at the harbor, with ships coming and going.

When these two connections came together as a single motif, their decision was made.

He opted for a matte finish, while she kept the shimmering mirror finish on her ring.

A Unique Pair of Wedding Bands Reflecting Each Other’s Preferences

The spring season, filled with memories of celebrating each other’s birthdays, and the texture that recalls their hometown, combined to create a pair of wedding banss that is uniquely theirs.

While incorporating the same elements, the differences in shape and surface finish allow each ring to reflect their individual preferences.

With these rings, and by embracing what makes you both special, I hope you continue to cherish each other in your own way!

Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
