I first met the couple in my atelier in November 2017.
I have taken their rings in for maintenance twice so far.
The first time was before their wedding and the second time was before the birth of their child.
Before their wedding, as preparation for their new beginning
I performed maintenance on the ring to restore it as closely as possible to its condition at the time of delivery.
Also, just before the birth of the baby, when the ring could not be worn,
she visited our atelier because it was the right time for its maintenance.
I remember her saying, "When I take off the ring that I wear every day, I feel something missing on my finger.
The design of the engagement ring was "Onda".
To maintain the brilliance of diamonds, an ultrasonic cleaner and a special cleaning solution are used to remove oil.
I tailored the wedding rings based on the "Legato" ring, adding the original customisation for the two rings.
The woman's ring is elegantly tailored with 5 diamonds.
The surface of the ring had scratches from use, but I polished them back to their original state.
The man's ring has a matte finish called "hairline".
As the surface texture changes to glossy as it is used, I re-finished the surface as part of the maintenance.
I hope that the customer will continue to take good care and wear them for long time.
