"At ith's Omotesando Atelier, concierges and wearers come together to craft truly ideal rings. Since July, we have been accepting special orders.
We welcome requests for custom-made rings using clients' own gems or featuring colored stones and fancy-cut diamonds. To closely align with each client's unique desires, our Omotesando Atelier's concierges work directly with clients to bring their visions to life.
The Omotesando Atelier was established after the one in Kichijoji, and due to the nature of the area, we have received many irregular inquiries.
Initially, with a workshop in the back, our current workshop head, Ishikawa, used to make simple prototypes to demonstrate ideas to clients, and it's where several of our collections were born. This atelier has always been closely tied to the creation process.
I am excited to begin this new venture of custom-made orders at the Omotesando Atelier!
The foundation of ith has always been about collaboratively finding ways to materialize our clients' wishes, focusing intently on each and every ring we craft. As ith enters its ninth year, all of us here, united by a commitment to our clients, are deeply involved in this creative process daily.
However, I have recently found myself questioning whether we are truly staying as close to each individual ring and client as we should.
This self-reflection began during my time away from the atelier for maternity and childcare. Being deeply immersed as a participant in ith, this period of absence allowed me to view ith from a step back, providing a valuable perspective.
Based on eight years of accumulation, I must question whether we have been drawing lines between what can and cannot be done, prioritizing the creation of an environment where we feel secure, without leaving our customers behind.
Despite our commitment to embrace challenges and respond properly to exceptional requests, I felt a sense of complacency with what we currently have. This led me to wonder, are we truly doing enough?
Balancing the need for stability in the brand and continually challenging ourselves to expand possibilities is crucial. Remembering that these efforts are all in line with ith's founding principle of staying close to our clients, I am motivated to venture into new paths.
If you ever find yourself uncertain about where to turn for ring advice, please visit us at the ith Omotesando Atelier.
Leveraging the knowledge and experience gained from crafting wedding and engagement rings, our concierges, trained in design, gemology, and metalworking, are always ready to attentively assist and fulfill your 'what if' dreams.
