Having seen so many designs, they felt a bit overwhelmed, but they were drawn to ith’s handcrafted rings, known for their gentle and delicate touch. Their smiles were evident as they tried on the sample rings with excitement.
When they first visited the atelier, the preferences they shared were:
"We like something simple, but maybe with some attention to surface finishing."
"We might prefer a curved shape."
Though still undecided about details like ring form and stone settings, they started by trying on a variety of sample rings to clarify their preferences.
They began by trying out various shapes and stone settings to discover and refine their personal preferences.
The couple fell in love with "Marcato," a design featuring soft, flowing curves that comfortably fit the finger. Its unique shape reflects light beautifully—an ideal choice for their desire for simplicity without a strong, bold impression.
The gentlemen's ring highlights its elegant curves with a full mirror-polish finish.
For the lady's ring, inspired by the way the diamonds aligned with the curves resembled a shooting star, we worked together to design a customization that accentuates the brilliance of the diamonds.
Instead of adding surface texture, which could overshadow the diamonds, a delicate design was added to the ring’s side.
The set diamonds were envisioned as stars, adding a stardust texture along the trailing section to represent their tails.
One of the favorite details is how the stardust texture sparkles above and below the engraving, creating the impression of a shooting star when viewed closely.
They were the first couple to have the stardust texture extended to follow the side-set diamond.
When the finished rings were presented, the couple couldn’t hide their delight.
They admired their rings repeatedly, their smiles growing brighter each time. Seeing their joy was incredibly rewarding for me.
With their wedding day fast approaching, I hope these thoughtfully crafted rings, imbued with their sentiment, will make their special day!
