The first time we met, the lady came alone to the atelier.
As I escorted her to her seat and we began to talk, she mentioned, "It's been hard to find wedding rings that both of us would like to wear," and that she had been previewing numerous stores on her own.
She also shared that the gentleman had mentioned he didn't mind not wearing a wedding ring at all.
However, her desire was to wear matching wedding rings.
So together, we explored many designs, trying on various rings to find the right fit.
Finding the Essence of Wedding Rings in Simplicity
The choice ultimately fell on the "Andante."
The ring features a gently rounded surface that nestles softly into the hand, creating a design that feels like a comforting embrace.
To align more with what she envisioned as the essence of a wedding ring, we added three diamonds to the design.
Wanting to ensure it also met her partner's approval, she arranged for both of them to visit the atelier the following week.
Time to Become Aware of Each Other's Feelings
When he tried on the "Andante," he liked it as well.
He appreciated its simplicity and the moderate width, which made it less conspicuous and more suitable for everyday wear.
Additionally, when I shared the lady's desire for matching wedding rings with him, he expressed that it wasn't that he didn't want to wear a ring, but that he wanted his partner to wear the ring she truly loves.
"If my partner can find a ring she really wants, I would be happy to wear it together with her," he thought.
When she heard his sentiments, a natural smile lit up her face.
Slowly, at Your Own Pace
The ring "Andante" that they chose together is named after the musical term meaning "at a walking pace."
As they begin their journey as a married couple, I hope they will create many cherished memories at their own pace, slowly and steadily.
