The two of you, living apart in Kyushu and Kansai, isited our atelier during the Obon holiday.
“I want a ring that isn’t like anyone else’s.” That was what sparked your interest in custom-made rings.
To bring your vision to life, we began by having you try on many sample rings, exploring different possibilities together.
A Shape That Reflects Your Unique Bond
One of your key preferences was a design with movement— a graceful wave-like form. As you compared different styles—twists, S-curves, U-curves, and V-curves— you discovered something new:
"If the curve is too strong, it feels a little too distinctive."
Through this process, we refined the design, focusing on a balance between uniqueness and the essence of a wedding ring.
A Ring That Symbolizes Holding Hands
The design you chose was "Moderato," featuring an intertwined arm shape called “Hōwan” (hugging arms). With its gentle, rounded form, it symbolizes two hands clasped together, a reflection of your care and support for one another. This special shape, unique to ith, along with its comfort fit, instantly captured your hearts.
Adding a Touch of Brilliance with Diamonds
To enhance the timeless beauty of your wedding rings, you decided to add a touch of sparkle with diamonds.
For the groom, a subtle yet distinctive choice— a brown diamond that blends seamlessly into everyday wear, adding a quiet individuality. Set within the curved band, the single diamond shimmers gently, embraced by the design.
For the bride, a touch of elegance— five diamonds placed along the left arm of the ring. Carefully set to follow the curve of the band, each stone enhances the graceful flow of the design.
A Perfect Pair, Uniquely Yours
With matching forms and custom diamond accents, you created a set of rings that is truly one-of-a-kind. Before your travels, you came to pick up your rings together, smiling as you said,
"We can’t wait to wear them on our wedding day."
Seeing the two of you admiring your rings with such joy was a truly heartwarming moment for me as well.
A Lifetime of Love, Hand in Hand
May your Moderato wedding rings always remind you to hold each other’s hands, just as you do now, and to walk through life together with warmth and love.
Wishing you both a beautiful day for your December wedding and a lifetime of happiness ahead.
