On the day of their consultation, the couple travelled all the way from Iki, Nagasaki, to visit ith, as they were interested in custom-made rings.
In this article, I’ll share the story of the rings they chose.
Discovering Their Preferences Through Trying On
The couple was searching for rings that would convey a sense of matching, as they wanted something to wear together for years to come.
As they tried on various rings, they began to realise what was truly important to them in their choice.
Given her job, the lady interacted with young children regularly, so she was looking for a ring with a smooth, rounded surface that would be comfortable to wear.
The gentleman liked both curved and straight shapes, and he found himself debating which would be better for a ring he’d wear every day.
In the end, the couple found a ring that matched their preferences perfectly.
Falling in Love with the Ring
The ring they chose was “Colore”.
“Colore” is a two-tone ring made with two different metals.
The design includes four elements: a combination of colours, hammered texture, milgrain edging, and a hairline finish.
The gentleman appreciated the combination of two metals, while the lady loved the ring's comfort and how it fit smoothly on her finger, making it easy to wear daily for work.
It’s truly wonderful when both people share a similar sense of style.
Customising the Design to Their Taste
Based on “Colore,” I made suggestions for a slight modification to suit their lifestyle and tastes.
We removed the hammered texture and smoothed the surface to create a more rounded finish.
The couple chose a “honing” texture for the surface.
The colour combination also reflected their desire for unity: the outside was platinum, while the inside, the part that touches the skin, was yellow gold.
This further enhanced the sense of matching, making the pair of rings even more special.
Wedding Rings That Reflect the Couple's Unique Sense of Matching
From the very beginning, the couple prioritised having matching rings.
After much deliberation, they finally decided on rings that bore the same name and design.
The meaning of “Colore” is “colour.”
It symbolises the idea that, even though the couple’s personalities and perspectives may differ, what they cherish most is the same.
I sincerely hope that their days together are filled with colourful happiness and joy.
Wishing them a lifetime of happiness.
