A Wedding Ring Pair with Two Distinct Expressions, Reflecting Each Partner's Preferences

While the late summer heat still lingers, signs of autumn are beginning to show, bringing a sense of seasonal change.

I remember that when they started their ring search, it was during the transition from winter to spring.

They were considering creating their rings themselves, but also interested in custom-made rings with a special feel, which led them to ith, where artisans craft their ideas from scratch.

A charmingly tapered shape

The lady came to the atelier with a vague image of wanting a design with a cute, tapered detail.

Among the tapered designs, she particularly liked "Ribbon uno."

A cinched center creates a beautiful and slender appearance on the hand.

The impression of a ring can often differ between seeing a photo and actually trying it on.

By trying on the rings, she appreciated not only the visual design but also how it made her hand look elegant.

A unique and special shape

Many of our customers at ith, like this gentleman, are unsure of their own preferences because they don't typically wear accessories. Together, we explored his preferences by trying on many different designs.

He eventually chose "Allegro," a design that offers different looks depending on how it's worn, with a diagonal line separating two distinct textures.

Though simple, "Allegro" is interesting in its versatility, and during our discussions, he confided, "I’m a sucker for anything 'unique.'"

The deciding factor was ultimately the unique and special shape that can only be achieved through handmade craftsmanship.

Before trying on the rings, he wasn’t sure of his preferences.
After trying on many different rings, he came to appreciate the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

Incorporating a hammered texture into the "Allegro" added a unique touch, making it even more special and one-of-a-kind.

Matching through reversible designs

They both expressed a desire to respect each other's preferences and choose designs that they each liked.

The sharp edges of "Allegro" and the soft, rounded charm of the customized "Ribbon uno" are very different in appearance. However, they both decided on a matching element for their rings.

"Allegro" features a polished finish that can be rotated to reveal a classic wedding ring look, while "Ribbon uno" has a hidden diamond set on the palm side, making it "reversible."

The extent to which matching elements are incorporated can vary for each couple.

Some prefer identical designs, while others match the form and vary the colors.

For the couple, adding a reversible design allowed for both individual preferences and a matching touch.

A custom-made wedding band filled with memories

They got married in spring, the same season when they started dating. In spring, the season of new beginnings, they both created even more precious memories together.

Now, five months after receiving their rings, they may have begun to settle comfortably on their hands.

The ribbon representing their bond and the hammered pattern inspired by the spring sunshine - Custom-made designs like theirs allow for this special personalization, reflecting their shared experiences.

I hope your days continue to be filled with joy, with your rings always by your side!
