Wedding Rings for a Couple United Through Piano

Discovering Rings with Musical Names

The couple came across wedding rings with musical terminology on our website, which led them to visit ith.

Having met through their shared passion for piano, they wanted a design that truly reflected their story and carried meaningful symbolism.

"I don’t know anything about choosing rings—it’s our first time," they said, sharing their nervousness during those early conversations about their ring selection.

After visiting our atelier twice, they created a set of rings filled with their unique essence. Let’s take a closer look at these special pieces.

Comfortable for a Lifetime

Rings with musical terminology come in a variety of shapes at ith.

Considering the classic design of wedding bands and the comfort required for long-term wear, they chose "Vivace" as the base design.

Vivace,” meaning “lively and spirited” in music, symbolizes their hope for an energetic and joyful journey through life together.

Engraving a Motif of the Precious Family

When we discussed textures, they shared, "We actually have a pet Java sparrow, and we’d like to include it as part of the design."

Piuma,” with its feather motif and delicate engraving, provides a soft glow.

Combined with the meaning of "Vivace," the design reflects their family’s warmth and evokes the image of your sparrow fluttering vibrantly, right at their finger.

Personal Touches Inside

The couple, who met through their shared love of playing the piano, chose August 8th as their wedding date.

When asked about the significance of this date, they explained that it was inspired by the 88 keys on a piano—a date uniquely meaningful to them.

When we discussed engraving possibilities, the idea of including musical notes resonated with them. After some thought, they decided to add two eighth notes together, symbolizing their connection and wedding date in a subtle and personal way.

It’s been about three months since the rings were delivered—have they begun to feel at home on your hands?

May you continue composing the beautiful music of your lives together. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.

Customer's Voice

The reason we visited ith was the discovery of rings named after musical terms. Having met through music and sharing our home with a beloved Java sparrow, we were thrilled to find the perfect combination of the Vivace, symbolizing "lively and spirited performance," and the feather-inspired Piuma.

Additionally, the suggestion to incorporate a musical score engraving sparked the idea to represent our wedding date, August 8th, with two eighth notes.

Wearing the rings now, we are moved every time we look at the delicate lines of the Piuma design, reminding us of the meticulous craftsmanship that went into creating them.

We couldn't decide in just one visit and appreciate the time and care taken during our second appointment, which allowed us to design rings that hold so much meaning for us. We are truly glad we entrusted ith with our rings.

Thank you so much for everything!
