A wedding and engagement ring connected by motifs meaningful to the couple

When the couple visited our atelier to discuss wedding and engagement rings, it was a cold winter season with a sprinkling of snow.

When I asked them about their plans, they told me that they were not planning to get married for another year.

They told me that they were taking their time to find a ring that was unique to them.

Engagement rings with a design that has a connection to the couple

She tried on the engagement ring first.

She loved the curved shape of the ring, which made her hand look beautiful.

Among the rings, she particularly liked the "Onda" ring.

The elegant design features small diamonds set along a curve, with the parts holding the stones forming a wave shape when viewed from the side.

The couple, who lived in the same dormitory and enjoyed a beautiful sea view from their window, chose the wave-inspired design of "Onda."

Wedding rings filled with the couple's preferences

Once the engagement ring design was found, the next step is for him to join in the search for a wedding ring design.

As the two of them took their time to try on the rings together, they found their own particular points of interest.

She preferred a shape that made their hands look beautiful, while he preferred a simple but subtle design.

The two of them came up with this design, "Cantabile," which has a twisted design with a thin waist on the center.

The front of the ring features a cinched shape that gives a sleek look to her hand.

The subly grooved design adds a touch of playfulness while remaining simple.

Both of their preferences were fullfilled, resulting in a harmonious matching shape.

The "Cantabile" ring is derived from the musical symbol for "to play as if singing."

May their happiness continue endlessly like the waves that ebb and flow, singing and stretching out freely.

The combination of "Onda" and "Cantabile" can embody these sentiments.

Diamonds associated with a lady's birthday

Once the design was decided, the final step was selecting the diamond, the highlight of the engagement ring.

This selection was led by the gentleman, as it was a gift for his partner.

The chosen diamond, as if guided, was a perfectly fitting 0.200-carat stone.

Carat refers to the weight of a diamond, measured up to the third decimal place.

The process of achieving a diamond’s brilliance involves cutting and shaping the rough stone, after which its weight is measured to determine its carat. Thus, reaching a precise weight like 0.200 carats is not intentional.

The fact that the chosen diamond coincidentally weighed exactly 0.200 carats, aligning with the lady’s birthday on the 2nd, felt like a destined choice for the couple.

From the design of the rings to the selection of the diamonds, they arrived at the perfect wedding and engagement rings connected by motifs meaningful to both of them.

Proposing with a special ring

On the day of the ring delivery, the couple arrived dressed in their finest attire.

The lady later informed me that the gentleman had proposed to her again.

I was also told that the name of the person involved in the proposal was the same as mine, which made me happy as well because of the wonderful connection between the two of them.

Since they ordered their rings early, I hope they enjoy the excitement leading up to their wedding with their rings by their side.

From the atelier, we wish them both a lifetime of happiness.
