Today, we share the heartfelt story of a couple from Okinawa who entrusted ith with the creation of their wedding rings
It all started when the bride-to-be discovered ith’s website, drawn to the idea of crafting custom-made wedding rings that would be truly unique to them.
ith currently has 12 ateliers in Japan and 3 international locations, but since there isn’t one in Okinawa, the couple decided to book an online consultation.
Choosing Rings from Afar
Over the course of two online consultations, the couple carefully selected and designed their wedding rings. During the first session, we introduced them to ith’s philosophy and craftsmanship, helping them get to know our brand and our approach to custom-made rings. Then, we explored their preferences and introduced various designs, discussing everything from the artistry behind the rings to how they feel when worn—all through a computer screen.
At first, they were a little nervous about choosing rings online, but as we talked, their excitement grew, and their smiles reassured me that they were truly enjoying the experience.
Later, we sent a selection of sample rings to their home, allowing them to try on the designs in person.
Feeling the textures, seeing the delicate details up close, and experiencing the comfort of each ring helped them make their choice at their own pace.
In the end, their hearts were set on "Allegro."
For the groom, the blend of mirror polish and hairline matte finish gave the ring both a classic and modern touch.
For the bride, the long, flowing lines of the design felt elegant and timeless.
Personalizing with a Shared Birthstone
During the second consultation, we discussed how to personalize their rings. They chose to set their shared birthstone, Moonstone, a gem known for its soft glow and deep symbolism.
The groom opted for a simple and refined design, while the bride added diamonds alongside the Moonstone for a more radiant, elegant look.
The Joy of Seeing Their Dream Come to Life
Throughout their journey, they held two wishes close to their hearts:
