"I'm interested in this design," they showed me on the ith blog.
To my surprise, the blog post was about a customer I had previously assisted. I clearly remember being astonished.
They were unsure whether to choose a traditional wedding ring design or something more unique.
I had the pleasure of helping the couple with their first ring selection.
The lady chose "Pioggija," a ring with a Japanese-inspired design featuring rain as its motif.
Its overwhelming visual impact and unique design were perfect for her.
What sealed the decision was the blog that had originally drawn her to ith.
She revisited it several times during the fitting and finally concluded, "This is the one I want!"
She also adored the delicate milgrain that added an antique feel to the ring.
The gentleman chose "Allegro," an original design from the inception of ith.
He was drawn to its unusual shape where two textures intersect diagonally.
He expressed a desire for a generally matte finish, opting to have one side feature the same Pioggia engraving as the lady's ring.
The other side was finished with the deepest matte honing process.
Interestingly, this honing was also applied to the sides of both rings.
Though the base shapes of their rings differ, applying the same finish created a unique matching effect, resulting in a striking design that captures the eye.
What defines a "wedding ring" and what makes it "unique" varies widely, person to person.
What's important is finding "the wedding ring for you." This couple successfully found their rings.
I would be delighted if this blog could spark another ring story somewhere.
