Matching Wedding Rings with a Focus on Milgrain

After browsing many brands, the couple discovered ith.

They expressed some uncertainty, saying, "We're not sure what kind of design we want anymore..." with a slight sense of unease.

Here's the story of how their rings came to life.

Base Ring Shape

The first step was trying on different ring "shapes."

The lady preferred a ring with a strong roundness and a soft impression, while the gentleman was mindful of the comfort and preferred a shape that had a moderate roundness but a flat impression, resulting in a clean and sleek look.

Even within the straight shapes, preferences varied, with some liking more rounded edges and others preferring sharp ones.

Gradually, each of their preferences began to emerge, and they discovered that a straight shape was what they both liked.

Shared Preferences

Once they agreed on the shape, the next step was to decide on surface finishes and decorative elements.

Having visited many brands, the couple already shared a common desire to include "milgrain" in their design.

Milgrain, also known as tiny bead-like decorations, carries meanings of longevity and prosperity. It offers an antique feel while providing a refined shine.

The couple had already agreed that they wanted to incorporate milgrain, a delicate bead-like decoration that symbolizes longevity and prosperity. It also provides an antique feel and elegant shine.

After discussing their preferences and individual details, the couple decided on the "Loto," which features milgrain around the entire center.

The "Loto" collection expresses the "lotus flower" that rises from the water. For the gentleman's ring, the milgrain encircles the center, and for the lady's ring, a diamond is placed in the same spot.

The couple was drawn to the new approach of placing milgrain in the center instead of the edges, which made it a unique choice for them.

Balancing Individual "Like" with “Matching Feel"

Although the couple initially had slightly different tastes, as the fitting progressed, they expressed a desire to make the design more cohesive. Since these rings would be worn for a lifetime, they wanted to ensure the designs matched.

The couple decided on the "Loto" as a base, where the gentleman’s ring had a shiny, mirrored finish, and the lady’s ring had a random hairline finish. A single diamond was added to the lady’s ring to add her personal touch.

The milgrain design and rounded shape of the rings give them a sense of unity, while their distinct textures and diamond placements make them unique to the couple.

Ring Delivery

When the time finally came to deliver their rings, the couple’s expressions had shifted from initial uncertainty to pure joy and relief. As the concierge, I felt incredibly happy to witness this moment.

I hope these rings continue to carry countless memories for the couple. Wishing them a lifetime of happiness!
