The couple found their way to ith in search of wedding rings featuring hand-carved patterns.
The bride’s grandmother had once worn a ring adorned with beautiful traditional Japanese designs,
and the couple, inspired by that cherished piece, hoped to create something just as meaningful
through ith’s custom-made process.
Though they didn’t have a specific pattern in mind, they explored different examples
and eventually decided on incorporating motifs like “plum,” “wisteria,” and “bush warblers,”
reminiscent of Japanese paintings.
Starting with rough sketches to align their vision, they refined the designs into final line drawings,
carefully arranging the layout.
When their rings are placed together, the plum and wisteria branches appear connected, and the two birds face one another—an expression of unity and harmony.
The base design was the flat-surfaced Quattro, with both rings made 5mm wide to showcase the engraving fully.
Areas without patterns were finished with a matte hairline texture, creating contrast to highlight each carved motif.
At the top of the rings, they set each other’s birthstones using a star-shaped engraving technique—
ensuring that their presence would always be felt through the rings.
At the delivery, the couple looked genuinely pleased with the finished result.
Now beginning their new life together, we wish them continued happiness.
We look forward to the day we can welcome them back again.
