The couple came to the atelier with their six-month-old child.
Their request was for "a casual and natural design." After many discussions, they placed an order for their wedding rings.
I would like to share their story here.
Each of them chose a base design that suited their preferences.
The lady chose the "Deserto," which features a modern aesthetic inspired by the desert.
The honing finish on the surface gives it a soft texture reminiscent of desert sand.
For the lady, who was looking for a natural look, this design was a perfect match.
Since she wanted "just a bit of sparkle," a topaz was set on the front of the ring.
They have two children: one of whom was born in November, and the other has a name derived from "the sun." Thus, they decided on a design with "a topaz set in a sun motif."
Careful attention was given to make sure the engraving resembled the sun as much as possible.
It became a design that truly conveyed their love for their children.
The gentleman chose "Allegro," an ith original design that incorporates two types of finishes.
One side has a mirror finish, while the other side was customized to have the honing finish, matching the lady’s ring.
Additionally, though it's not visible in the photo, a topaz was set on the inside front of the ring, linking it to the lady's ring.
His ring also embodies his love for their children.
Lastly, the couple decided on an engraving for the inside of their rings:
"toujours 4personnes."
In French, "toujours" means "always" or "forever."
To me, it seemed that this engraving conveyed a wish to "always be together as four."
May ith's rings forever symbolize their family’s love and always stay close to the four of them.
