When the gentleman, whom I had the pleasure of assisting with the selection of an engagement ring at the Shinjuku Atelier, visited the Ginza Atelier with his partner to consult about wedding ring.

Blog: A Special Engagement Ring with Carefully Chosen Gemstones
Although I had met the lady once before during a size adjustment for her engagement ring, it was particularly gratifying to be involved in crafting their wedding rings at the time of their marriage.
The rings turned out beautifully, and I'm excited to share them with you!
Chosen Shapes That Celebrate Individuality
"The registration date is on July 7, Tanabata!" they happily explained.
The couple had a clear vision for their wedding bands, desiring to incorporate flowing lines reminiscent of the Milky Way into the design.
The gentleman, who had a penchant for unique shapes during the engagement ring selection, together with his partner chose the "Gemelli" for their wedding bands.
The intertwining and connected form of the two rings appealed to their taste for distinctive character.
The smooth, Milky Way-like shape was another reason they were drawn to this design.
Of the two metals used, both chose white gold for one component.
This choice was made because they wanted to wear the rings together, and it was important that the matching elements strongly reflect their connection.
A Texture That Balances Both Design and Meaning
While they focused on a unified appearance in shape and color, the texture of each ring's surface was tailored to their individual preferences.
The gentleman valued comfort in his everyday wear.
He chose a deep matte "honing" finish for the entire surface, which gave the ring a subdued look.
The lady, while also choosing "honing" for the pink gold, opted for "mirror finish" and "stardust" on the white gold sections, ensuring that it balanced well with her engagement ring when worn together.
The delicate sparkle of the "stardust" finish resembled scattered stardust.
Every time they look at their rings, they are reminded of their special Tanabata registration day—a uniquely personal and meaningful design for the couple.
Two month had passed since the wedding registration.
Next month was the lady's birthday.
The engagement ring, shining like a full moon, and the wedding bands, twinkling like stars, have hopefully become a cherished part of their daily lives.
Should you need any maintenance, please feel free to reach out at any time.
I look forward to the next opportunity to meet with both of you.
