This couple came to ith with the intention of remaking a diamond into their wedding bands.
They had been searching for a brand that could create custom designs and were happy to have found ith.
At ith, we also offer remakes of diamond jewellery.
Many clients bring in heirloom pieces passed down from family members and request a new design to transform the jewellery into something fresh.
For this couple, the diamond earrings the lady had inherited were remade into wedding rings to symbolize their bond.
The diamond in question was a sizable 0.5ct stone.
Taking into account the diamond's size, the design balance, and the lady’s personal preference, she chose "Sophia," which features a V-shape.
"Sophia" was perfect for showcasing the larger diamond while maintaining a sleek, elegant look that complemented the hand.
Although other designs were also considered, the design that was chosen was clearly the one she would wear the most. I was so happy to hear her say, "It's so cute!" and to see how deeply she fell in love with the design.
The gentleman had a clear idea of what he wanted for his ring.
He envisioned a straight band with a single diamond in the center, made of platinum.
Among the various options, "Tremolo" with a rare hexagonal profile "Shinogi" caught his eye.
The edgy shape that suited his hand, along with the diamond setting, turned out exactly as imagined.
Both of their rings were designed with great attention to the shape and the diamonds.
When they received the rings, they were overjoyed with the final result.
It was beautiful to see how the diamond, originally purchased by the lady for herself, had been transformed into a symbol of their union.
I hope that, in the future, the couple will return to us to add even more memories to the other diamond.
Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness!
