On my day at the Nagoya Sakae Atelier, I had the delight of meeting a couple whose calm presence and beautiful smiles were truly captivating.
They came to ith with a clear vision: "We want to create a design that's uniquely ours through custom order."
Eager to infuse their personal touch while retaining the essence of traditional wedding rings, they opted for platinum as their desired metal.
Design Focused on U-Shape and Comfortable Wear
The design they were drawn to was the "Legato," whose shapes like joined hands was impressive.
The rounded, smooth U-shape, which was a mutual preference.
The curved design on the palm side of the ring enhances comfort, making it a favorite feature.
Considering her preference for wearing gold-toned jewellery, the inside of the ring was lined with yellow gold to suit her taste.
Single Topaz Nestled Among Randomly Set Diamonds
The woman expressed a fondness for "Piacere" design, particularly for its method of setting diamonds of various sizes randomly, which added a subtle charm.
Moreover, they decided to replace one of the diamonds with a topaz, making it a marker of "their uniqueness".
The topaz, being November's birthstone and symbolising "sincerity" and "hope", held special significance as both share their birthdays and wedding month in November.
Matching Topaz as a Unique Accent
The man's significant request was for a noticeable feature on the front of his ring.
He found the front line of the "Legato" appealing, and after trying on various designs, he was drawn to one with a single set stone, eventually choosing a topaz to match his partner's selection. This was strategically placed to closely mirror the position of the topaz on the woman’s ring.
By placing topaz in the same location on each ring, the couple can always feel each other's presence.
The yellow gold on the inside symbolizes warm feelings towards each other, adding a special warmth.
This special ring, filled with unique touches known only to the couple!
I am deeply grateful for the connection made through these rings at the Nagoya Sakae Atelier and from the Shinsaibashi Atelier, I wholeheartedly wish for their everlasting happiness.
