We often receive inquiries from our customers.

 

Many brands have catalogs that cover their products.

At ith, we used to offer them as well.

 

Customers looking for rings often collect many catalogs while searching for which brands and what kind of ring designs are available to suit their needs.



However, at the moment, ith does not have a catalog available.


Today, you can browse all products on the web, and for more detailed details, you can enlarge the images and check them even with your smartphone.

 

We thought it would make sense to preserve this information in a form of printed matter that can be easily picked up and easily discarded.

What we want to convey through the brand book

What is it that can be conveyed because it is in a form that can be picked up and looked at?

 

On a website, information can be easily obtained by keyword searching for the information you want.


In contrast, printed materials take time to find the information you are looking for.

It is a medium that is interesting in that it is easy for information that is outside of your awareness to catch your eye and yield harvests that you may not have thought of yourself.

 

We want to deliver "the joy of the experience of customers making their own rings."

 

Enjoyment means

We want to convey the thoughts and feelings that the creator cherishes and the craftsman's attitude toward the ring.

To make this happen, we thought we could deliver this information in an easy-to-handle booklet format.

 

For this reason, we have decided to create a booklet, not in the form of a catalog, but as a brand book, which will be available from 2020, containing all of ith.

Renewal of the Brand Book

We are pleased to announce the renewal of our brand book.


I'd like to talk about some of the changes we made.

The design of the brand book was inspired by the Bible, with a size that fits in the hand and a cover design.

 

We have not changed the size of the book, but have changed the cover to a new type of paper called parchment.

 

 

As the name suggests, parchment is a writing paper made from tanned sheepskin.

It was used in Egypt as far back as 2500 B.C. to write letters.

 

By using a paper with a soft, cloudy-air texture that mimics the texture of parchment, we have created a more biblical, antique-like finish.

 

In addition, the golden letters and illustrations laid out on the cover are the same shape as the arched entrance that symbolizes ith's atelier.

 

Please turn the cover as if you visit the atelier for the first time with a sense of excitement and open the door.

Page about forged rings

In order to let you know more about what we are trying to do at ith, we have included a page introducing our new products.

 

One is the Forging Collection, which we started accepting orders for in May 2021.

 

 

Customers have been requesting this design for some time, and it was developed with much anticipation.

The page introduces in detail the design in collaboration with the workshop Fujimori and ith's forging process.

 

We hope that those who are interested in craftsmanship, as well as those who are seeing the word "forging" for the first time, will be interested in reading the brand book.

The page about anniversary jewelry

Another addition is a page about anniversary jewelry sold exclusively through the online store.

 

This is a product that is currently only available through our online store, so unless you are consciously looking for it, you may not have many opportunities to see it.

 

 

We have included it in our brand book so that more people will be able to see it and be interested in it.

 

As the name "Anniversary Jewelry" suggests, it was developed with the expectation that it would be purchased for the birth of a child, for a milestone anniversary, or as a gift.

The ring was developed with this in mind.

 

We hope that the relationship between the couple who created the ring and ith will last forever."

 

The jewelry was created with the thoughts of Takahashi, the representative of the company, and the involvement of a variety of people.
