"The S-curve caught my eye," said the gentleman.
"I don't want to have something like everyone else," said the lady.
With their distinct tastes and preferences, the couple visited the atelier to begin creating their wedding rings.
From Different Reasons to One Shared Base
The gentleman was drawn to the S-curve, but as he tried on rings, something else caught his attention.
"I want something with an accent."
Realizing that the "something" he was looking for was a bit of volume at the top, he chose "Marcaro."
Meanwhile, the lady had initially thought she wanted a straight design but found that she was drawn to rings with more movement.
"When I tried them on, I realized I actually like rings with some flow…"
She too was drawn to "Marcaro," and she shared her love for the flowing lines in the design.
A Natural Harmony of Preferences
As the couple tried on rings together, their conversations were perfectly in sync, like a comedic duo.
They discussed their preferences, and before they knew it, the lady’s desire to avoid a common design had transformed into a shared desire between them both.
Male: Honing, "Tsuchime Aki" / Female: Mese
They each chose their preferred texture, and in the most visible twisted part, both of them left a shiny mirror finish.
The sight of the two of them thinking about the design in the same direction was sparkling and truly wonderful.
A Hidden Mark of Their Love
As the design neared completion, the gentleman suggested, "How about we add something fun to the opposite side?"
He had been intrigued by the idea of adding a "star engraving" to the other side of the ring.
"Then," the lady, who had been unsure about the number of diamonds, decided to reduce it to one diamond and have it set with a "star decorative engraving" instead.
When the gentleman's ring is flipped over...
The couple’s "mark" subtly shone from a different spot. This thoughtful addition made their rings uniquely "theirs".
Actually, the name "Marcatto" comes from a musical term meaning "to play clearly as if making a mark." The design carries the meaning of "the couple's mark."
Just like the meaning behind "Marcato," the rings became a symbol of their uniqueness.
The couple joyfully exclaimed, "This design is just for us, right?"
As they continue their journey together, may their rings carry more and more personal marks over the years.
