A Story That Began with an Engagement Ring, Continued Through Wedding Rings

The story of ith's ring-making begins, at times, with an unexpected connection.

Previously, a gentleman visited the Kichijoji Atelier alone,

and commissioned a wonderful engagement ring.

That was the connection.

This time, to create wedding rings,

the two of them travelled all the way to the Motomachi Atelier in Yokohama.

Woven beyond time and through the streets,

the story of the couple's rings.

A one-of-a-kind engagement ring, crafted with meticulous care

During a trip to a place meaningful to her,

the man who had planned to propose.

Previously, as the ring to adorn that special moment,

to craft the finest ring at the ith Kichijoji Atelier.

The biggest dilemma when choosing a ring was the ring's shape.

The other party's preference for a straight silhouette,

“An S-shaped ring would have a beautiful line and suit her.”

which was their intuition.

Ultimately,

“I want to give the thing I think looks the best, with confidence.”

which is to say, they wanted to give the thing they believed to be the most beautiful, with confidence.

and with that strong resolve,

they chose the S-curve "Fujihana".

In keeping with the flowing design of the "Fujihana",

a pink diamond was discreetly set on the middle finger side.

To preserve an aesthetically pleasing overall balance,

they consulted with the concierge extensively,

and had it crafted in a size that complemented the pinky side.

In choosing the centre diamond that shines,

they found a 0.290ct diamond.

which has the numbers of her birthday, 9 December, hidden within,

and a romantic touch that speaks without words.

Inside the ring, the birthstone of the woman, Tanzanite,

was softly set.

The love for the partner and their own uncompromising commitment to quality

resulted in an engagement ring that is rich with love and their steadfast devotion.

A wedding ring that stays close to daily life and honours their preferences

And this time, the two of them are making their wedding rings together,

from Yamanashi Prefecture to the ith Yokohama Motomachi Atelier.

“We want something one-of-a-kind.”

Beside the woman who spoke, there stood a man quietly watching over her.

By incorporating a diagonal line rising toward the upper right across the entire ring, the way it catches the light changes with the viewing angle, in the "Allegro".

Not only visible attention to detail, but subtle sentiments have been poured into these rings.

The couple's wedding rings will blend into their married life as naturally as air,

and walk their future together, forever.

We look forward to welcoming the two of them again, to see the rings settle on their hands.

We look forward to meeting the rings that have become a natural part of the two of their hands.
