They began by trying on deliberately simple rings,
gradually discovering their preferences.

Warm, hand-crafted carving patterns
They tried on many rings,
the rings they chose were "Parquet".
While keeping the sparkle restrained,
the pattern being clearly visible was its appeal,
and it was a perfect match for their tastes.
"Parquet" is a design with linear patterns running in sequence.
Using a tool called a graver,
keeping angle, depth and width constant,
carving them one by one.
Additionally, adjusting the width to suit the band and finger size,
while making fine adjustments to the angle,
they refine the carving to achieve the final form.
Even a few degrees,
as soon as the angle shifts, the pattern may crumble,
a ring that truly embodies the artistry of skilled artisans.

Adding their own touch
To fit the size of their hands,
the width was adjusted to 2.0mm for both,
and the balance was ensured.
The metals were considered, platinum and pink gold,
but taking cues from the colours they each wished to wear,
they ultimately chose matching pink gold.
Furthermore, for the woman's ring,
bead-set black diamonds were added.
The contrast with pink gold is striking, giving it a poised, stylish look.
Such refinements are achievable only through handiwork,
and they have become their own special wedding rings.
