Infusing Your Unique Thoughts and Meaning into the Ring Design

In a quiet alley of Kichijoji stands an atelier, founded by a female artisan.

It was the groom’s appreciation of ith’s origins that brought them both to us, connecting theirr story with ours.

I remember the bride happily sharing how she had received an ith proposal ring from her fiancé.

Having both their engagement and wedding rings made at ith, they were a couple with many shared interests and connections, from birthdays to hobbies. Naturally, they were drawn to the stories and meanings behind the rings.

Sparkling and Elegant Engagement Ring, Perfect for Stacking

Their ring journey began with the engagement ring.

The bride, who loves all things glittering, wanted a design that would allow for multiple rings to be worn together. They both paid special attention to comfort and ease of stacking when selecting the design.

The ring they chose was "Iris," a design that offers a variety of sparkling details.

"Iris" features a simple straight shape, making it perfect for stacking.

The elegant sparkle of the central diamond, complemented by the tiny side diamonds and delicate milgrain, as well as the powerful shine of the traditional Japanese engraving on the sides, made it the ideal choice for the bride.

"Iris" is inspired by the iris flower.

Its glamorous yet refined design reflects the flower’s meaning, "kind heart."

Wedding Bands Shaped Like Holding Hands

To match "Iris," they chose a wedding ring with a U-shape curve.

The matching rings they selected together were "Forte," a design inspired by a couple linking arms.

The groom mentioned that he loved how the rings looked as though they were holding hands.

Both of they preferred rings that felt comfortable and natural on their fingers. Being born in autumn, they were drawn to "Tsuchime Aki," a design with a matte texture reminiscent of the scales of clouds floating in the autumn sky.

They also chose matching pink gold, and added brown diamonds to both rings, enhancing the sense of unity and personal touch.

The three rings they created together became a special design, capturing their thoughts and ideas.

Enjoying the Ring Selection Process at the Atelier

At the atelier, they took their time selecting the rings, chatting about their story, shared interests.

As I learned more about their journey, I could see that the designs coming together before me were truly meant for the two of them.

Now that the rings have made their way to the couple's hands, I’m sure that as they wear them, they’ll develop a texture that’s unique to their life together.

I look forward to seeing the rings again for maintenance in the future.

May you enjoy a life filled with your special rings!

I hope they will gently watch over your future happiness.
